Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 by Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. This brought her some attention. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical moment was when she stumbled across a miniature piano hidden in the basement and becoming enthralled by the sounds it produced. The parents of her May-Britt family along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a career or hobby but for growth. In order to do so she started writing her own new compositions. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork for being among her inspirations. Responding to her mother's suggestions that her children ought not to aim at achieving fame through their songwriting skills, she instead recognize the significance of their lives as well as their contribution to society. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and started writing songs at the age of nine. It was not until she turned 14 when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora has never imagined being a famous singer. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. She says that music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
