Holly was engaged three times. First, she married actor Danny Quinn. Two years after their marriage, in 1993, they divorced. Alaina Suddeth was born in Rossville, Georgia, on 8 November 1994, to Kristy Suddeth, and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina's father, an engineer from Tennessee started singing when she was 3. Her first public performances followed by a choir for children and a place to go on vacation that included karaoke. Apart from singing at the restaurant and church, she also sang for family reunions, holiday parties and anywhere else within a thirty-mile range. Alaina participated with the Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and took the crown. That year she was crowned the contest for talent of children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. Her performances on this stage were on for a while until she turned 12 and she was the winner of a contest that enabled her to be on stage. At the age of 10 she traveled from Florida across the state to Orlando to participate at the American Model and Talent Competition. The competition was won by Alaina, who was able to beat over 1,500 kids. Alaina sang in the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's youth chorus. Alaina was first in Nashville in her teens. She was a regular at the local bars in Broadway, such as Tootsie's. Alaina, who is born on the 29th of September 1989, was the winner of the WinniSTAR talent contest for the youth in Lake Winnepesaukah. Alaina began singing after her cousin Holly Witherow who had been diagnosed with a tumor on the brain, inspired her. Alaina was employed by CiC's Pizza prior to her becoming a part of Idol. She went to Lakeview-FortOglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, where she participated in the cheerleading team.
